Terms of service
Last updated 27 July 2026
These are the rules for using Learning Hub. By creating an account you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain English rather than the usual wall of capital letters.
Who we are
Learning Hub is run by Learning Hub, a family-run business in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@uklearninghub.com.
Accounts
- The account holder must be 18 or over. Students are added by the account holder, not by themselves.
- You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for what happens on your family's accounts.
- Give us accurate details. If your email is wrong you will not get password resets.
- One account is for one family. Sharing a login outside your household is not allowed.
What it costs
- A free trial of 14 days. No card is needed to start it.
- After that, £6.99/month for a whole family, up to 5 students. Not per child.
- A school plan is £49.99/month for up to 40 students.
- If 5 families you referred are subscribed at the same time, yours is free for as long as that holds.
- Prices include VAT where it applies. If we change the price we will tell you by email first, and it will only affect you from your next renewal.
Billing and cancelling
Subscriptions renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the billing section of your dashboard, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not take a payment for the following month once you have cancelled.
Refunds. If something is broken and we cannot fix it, tell us and we will refund you. If you simply forgot to cancel and have not used it that month, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it — we would rather do that than argue. This sits alongside your legal rights as a consumer, which nothing here takes away.
Voucher codes
Codes give free access for a set period. They are not exchangeable for money, can only be used once each unless we say otherwise, and we may cancel a code if it is being misused.
Using it sensibly
Please do not:
- share your login outside your household, or resell access
- copy the lessons, questions or exam papers to publish or sell elsewhere
- try to break into the service, other families' data, or our servers
- use it to store or send anything unlawful or abusive
- scrape the content in bulk or use it to train another AI system
If someone breaks these badly we may suspend the account. Where it is minor we will get in touch first.
What we promise, and what we do not
We work hard to keep the lessons accurate and mapped to the national curriculum. But Learning Hub is a practice tool, not a teacher and not a school. It does not replace formal assessment, and it is your responsibility as the home educator to decide what your child learns.
Some content is generated and checked by AI. We draft questions with one AI model, have a second stronger model fact-check every one, and drop anything it flags. Even so, mistakes get through. There is a flag button on every question — please use it, and we will review it. Do not rely on anything here as medical, legal, financial or safety advice.
Mock exams are practice, not real exams. They are written in the style of GCSE papers and marked by AI against a mark scheme. They are not set, endorsed or moderated by any exam board, and a grade here is an indication, not a prediction.
We are not affiliated with AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC or any other awarding body, nor with the Department for Education.
Availability
We aim to keep it running all the time but cannot promise it. There will be occasional maintenance, and things sometimes break. If it is down for a long stretch, get in touch and we will sort your billing out fairly.
Your content
Anything your family writes — project journals, exam answers, reflections — stays yours. We store it to show it back to you and to mark it, and for nothing else. We do not use it to train AI models and we do not publish it. The lessons, questions, exam papers and software remain ours.
If something goes wrong
We are responsible for losses we cause you that were a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We are not responsible for things outside our reasonable control, for lost profits or business losses, or for a child's exam results. Where we are liable, it is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account whenever you like. We may close it if these terms are seriously broken, or if payment fails and is not fixed. If we close it for any other reason we will give you reasonable notice and refund anything you have paid in advance.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters we will email account holders and update the date at the top. Carrying on using it after that means you accept the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
